It's official! Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are finally husband and wife-but the celebration is far from over.
Following the ceremony, Queen Elizabeth II will host the Queen's luncheon, a traditional wedding breakfast at St. George's Hall's Waterloo Chamber on the Windsor Castle grounds. The tradition of the luncheon has gone back for decades, and in case you don't know the history of this event, here's what to know about the affair. Following Prince William and Kate Middleton's 11 a.m. ceremony in 2011, 600 guests headed to Buckingham Palace for their buffet-style brunch hosted by the Queen. Reportedly, 10,000 canapГ©s were served, and we have a feeling Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's reception followed suit.

The luncheon venue, St. George's Hall, is a royal banquet hall that features a modern Gothic style and a grand ceiling. It's also where the Queen hosts her annual Christmas party. There, the culinary staff and Mark Flanagan, head chef of the royal household, will serve an extravagant brunch. According to the Kensington Palace website, the food will be made from "the freshest produce available," and ingredients will be sourced from local farms and even Queen Elizabeth's Windsor estate." Luckily the seasons have just fallen perfectly and that's become the main focus in the decision making of the menus," said Flanagn. "The couple have been very involved in every detail of it."
The royal menu at the luncheon will include canapГ©s:
Scottish Langoustines wrapped in Smoked Salmon with Citrus CrГЁme Fraiche
Grilled English Asparagus wrapped in Cumbrian Ham
Garden Pea Panna Cotta with Quail Eggs and Lemon Verbena
Heritage Tomato and Basil Tartare with Balsamic Pearls
Poached Free Range Chicken bound in a Lightly Spiced Yoghurt with Roasted Apricot
Croquette of Confit Windsor Lamb, Roasted Vegetables and Shallot Jam
Warm Asparagus Spears with Mozzarella and Sun-Blush Tomatoes
Bowl food including:
Fricassee of Free Range Chicken with Morel Mushrooms and Young Leeks
Pea and Mint Risotto with Pea Shoots, Truffle Oil and Parmesan Crisps
Ten Hour Slow Roasted Windsor Pork Belly with Apple Compote and Crackling
Sweet canapГ©s including:
Champagne and Pistachio Macaroons
Orange CrГЁme BrГ»lГ©e Tartlets
Miniature Rhubarb Crumble Tartlets
Pastry chef extraordinaire Selwyn Stoby, along with a team of fellow trained bakers, will be on dessert duty the day of the wedding, creating all of the confectionaries and sweets for the guests. In addition to the desserts, the reception will feature the royal wedding cake, which was recently revealed on Kensington Palace's Twitter account.
And if the food wasn't enough to give you FOMO, Elton John was also set to perform at the luncheon, Kensington Palace shared.
Following the daytime reception, the palace will host an evening reception. Only 200 of the couple's guests will attend the second, private evening reception that will take place at the Frogmore House and will be hosted by Prince Charles.
