It was only a year ago that Meghan Trainor and Daryl Sabara got engaged, and it was only two weeks ago that the two tied the knot, but that's not stopping them from family planning. The singer just revealed that the newlyweds are totally ready for a baby.

“If we could do it how we want to, we'd be, like, totally preggo right now!” Trainor told People.

Unfortunately not everything always works out on schedule! Even though Trainor and Sabara are ready to start their family, they will put things on hold until after she goes on tour for her upcoming album Treat Myself, which is slated for some time this year.

“We're ready to rumble. I want some children! I want kids!” Trainor continued. “We're both so excited for it. We both constantly watch baby YouTube videos and lessons on YouTube, like 'How to take care of an infant.' Laughs We're just getting prepared every single day. But I'm gonna tour this album, then start thinking about doing it.”

It sounds like the “All about That Bass” singer has a lot on her plate, including still coming down from her just married high. Trainor and Sabara tied the knot on December 22-on the singer's 25th birthday and exactly one year from the day they got engaged-in a backyard ceremony at their home in Los Angeles.

For the ceremony, in which the couple exchanged hand-written vows in front of 100 guests, the bride wore a Berta gown, Badgley Mischka heels, and Norman Silverman jewels. For the reception, Trainor changed into a Rita Vinieris suit and Aldo sneakers to dance the night away.

While the big event only took place a couple of weeks ago, the groom says it feels like they've been married for longer. “I feel like we've already been married since we've been together, but I guess it's just that special bond,” he told People.

Seems like their special bond might be what is accelerating this couple's journey to parenthood.

“We just want kids,” Sabara added. “I'm excited to be her husband so I can be a dad and we can have kids together.”
