The famous daughter of Courtney Love and Kurt Cobain, Frances Bean, married her longtime love Isaiah Silva in a top-secret ceremony surrounded by a few close friends - a guest list that did not include the bride's famous rocker mom.

France's nuptials to her boyfriend of five years - who happens to be a total Kurt lookalike (see the photo below!) - were so hush-hush, in fact, that the mother of the bride wasn't even aware that it was her daughter's big day, The Mirror reports. Instead, the 23-year-old gave her mom a quick call shortly after she said "I do" to let her know that she was officially a married woman. Reportedly, Love is believed to be "sad" about the whole situation.

France's decision to have a small ceremony is a bit reminiscent of her dad, as Kurt opted for a low key wedding himself - Kurt and Courtney wed in front of only eight guests in 1992.

"Frances is totally loved up with Isaiah, but she's never been one to broadcast it to the world," a source said. "She only invited a close circle of friends to the party, and then phoned her mum afterwards to tell her the good news."

The famous mother and daughter's relationship has been strained since 2009 when Frances applied for her dad's (the late Kurt Cobain) mother, Wendy O'Connor, and aunt, Kimberly Dawn Cobain, to become her legal guardians. But, after a four-year feud, the two became close again.

"Courtney and Frances have had a strained relationship over the years, but after tons of fallouts they actually get on quite well now. Courtney is sad she wasn't there but she totally understands that Frances is her own person and she's happy to let her do her own thing. Plus, Isaiah is a really nice guy."
